banana bread

ingredients-

Substitute egg with curd

white whole wheat flour

11/2 cup

1/4 teaspoon

cinnamon

1 teaspoon

a wonderful aroma for a wonderful ingredient! It helps regulate BP!

very ripe banana

~3 medium bananas

a ripe banana helps your baby to easily digest this fibrous delight!

plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup

To moisten up our cake and maintain our gut!

egg / curd

2 / 1/2 cup

Our source of protein! but not only that, it also helps our brain function!

olive oil

1/4 cups

It improves heart health

pure maple syrup or dates syrup

3-4 tablespoon

to add a sweet tang along with manganese  or magnesium to your child's diet!

vanilla extract

1 teaspoon

For that extra appetising smell!


Steps-

Prepare

Preheat oven to 350°F or heat pressure cooker without the whistle on the lowest flame. Grease and line a 8 inch square pan with parchment paper for easy removal and clean up.

In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients

Mash

In a medium bowl, mash bananas in a large bowl using the back of a fork or a potato masher. Try to get it as smooth as possible but small lumps are fine.

combine the wet ingredients and mix together until well combined.

Stir the wet ingredients into the flour mixture. 

Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the inserted toothpick in  

the centre comes out clean. Take it out and let it cool
