Ingredients-

cooked brown rice, warmed

1/2 cup

healthy and filled with texture!

grated mild cheddar cheese

black beans, drained and rinsed

You can substitute it to any beans!

medium avocado, chopped into small pieces

A very versatile ingredient. You can top this with any veggie or seasoning to make a quick meal.

An amazing ingredient for digestion!

1/4 cup

corn can strengthen the jaw of a baby especially on a cob


Steps-

combine

Mix the rice, beans, corn, cilantro, and cumin together in a bowl. Gently stir in the pieces of avocado. Top with cheese if desired.

Enjoy

Let your baby enjoy picking up the food with their fingers and feeding themselves. If your baby is not ready for finger foods, transfer the mixture to a food processor or blender and puree with a little water or low-sodium chicken or vegetable stock to desired consistency.
